About Sandra

Sandra’s passion for piano and music in general began in her childhood. Thanks to her parents, who found it important that their daughter learned a musical instrument, she started when she was 6 with music theory lessons at the music school. The year after she started with the piano lessons.
Secondary education followed in Zagreb, Croatia. Once in the Netherlands, age of 15, she started at the Rotterdam Conservatory at the classical piano department,  under the supervision of Michael Davidson.
In addition to playing piano, Sandra composes both classical and contemporary music.
In 2013, Sandra founded classics-inspired Art Rock formation Phoenix Lights with which she gives live performances (EP ‘Phoenix Lights’, 2015; Soundtrack ‘River Soap’, 2017).

Sandra teaches young and old, beginners and advanced, anyone who wants to learn and develop.

In addition to playing piano, other aspects of music making are discussed in the lesson, such as musicality, interpretation, composing and interplay.
